Biography

Born in 1991 in Naples, Florida, Kaitlyn began her artistic career as a portrait photographer before her passion for art history led her to oil painting. Her inclination towards the figurative transcends media and is immanent in her work. Insatiably curious, Brawley frequently references mythology, folktale, and religion as she explores the complexities of womanhood, aging, and autonomy in our time. She currently lives and works from her studio in Bonita Springs, Florida.
